WordPressGuidesCo says:

never seen that happen before. I’d suggest you submit a ticket with Yoast
and see what they say.

seosauce says:

great video

Bernardo Estilloso Jr says:

Great tutorial Sir! Thank you so much

Elsie Whitelock says:

Thanks.. Good vid for this plugin.

WordPressGuidesCo says:

this plugin doesn’t install your favicon for you but you may check out one
of many that do, including Captain Favicon, which is easy to setup.

WordPressGuidesCo says:

You can change the URL to include keywords, but keep in mind that the color
system is just there as a gauge, to tell you if you’re getting close. You
can look under the advanced tabs in the seo panel under your pages and
posts for more tips on how to further optimize. You may end up needing more
wording in your post, or use the keyword more in your text. Remember this
gauge is for your usage only, and only indicates an overall idea of how
well you’ve optimized for that particular keyphase

WordPressGuidesCo says:

don’t think it’s anything to worry about. if you don’t have a focus keyword
set though, it will give you a message there alerting you of that fact. Big
thing to make sure is to do your keyword research before choosing focus
keywords, and once you choose them, make sure the light is at least yellow,
if not green.

Bent K. Michaelsen says:

Way too advanced. Is there an easier tutorial somewhere?

WordPressGuidesCo says:

thanks! i love your name

Awesome video! Super helpful. Thank you

cfbest best says:

Thanks for the Video! Very Helpful…one question, in the Taxonomies
section, under the title template, I erased it all now when I do %%term_
title, it won’t let me underscore it just leaves a space. Is that a problem?

Eddie Gega says:

Hi there. Nice tut and straight to the point. One thing i didn’t get. When
i hover over the dot after they’ve turned to green it shows “na”. What is
that?

Mark Toughill says:

An excellent tutorial and easy to follow as I don’t know how I would have
coped with all these settings. Thank you for sharing your knowlege.

gwashin says:

Thanks for a great tutorial video. I must admit that struggled a bit with
this plugin initially, but your video made this process seam very
straightforward and demonstrated the full utility of SEO by Yoast. I
appreciate the completeness of the topic you covered.

ProTv says:

Thanks

TheBunniznable says:

I was able to follow along with your tutorial perfectly. However, after I
loaded my sitemap on to Google Webmaster I got an error message for an
invalid date. The description of the error is : “An invalid date was found.
Please fix the date or formatting before resubmitting.” How do I fix this
error?

Juan Denuse says:

Excellent…. thanks

Ryan Prentiss says:

Awesome. Thanks for the walk-through.

Steve Russon says:

Hi, great tutorial. Thanks for this. I’m just struggling to get my SEOs all
green. I can’t seem to get the ‘page title’ right. At 19:00 you cove this
but seemed to get it confused with the URL. Any ideas where I can change
the page title? Cheers mate. Steve

Christy Talky says:

Thank you so much for this great tutorial and review. Keep up the good work

WordPressGuidesCo says:

Once Google has your XML file, they’ll be updated automatically as you add
more pages in the future.

WordPressGuidesCo says:

hope it helped. YOAST is the best

WordPressGuidesCo says:

the content of titles metas and descriptions comes down to optimization
strategies. This video shows how to put in these items, but figuring out
what actual words and phases to use is a much deeper topic, as it sounds
like you know… consulting with a website professional on keyword research
is always recommended.

FARANDULAVIP says:

thnakss

Baseline46 says:

Hi there, thanks for this nice tutorial. I have a question, the xml file is
generated from this plugin or is a standard WP file? I’m using the All in
one SEO Plugin for now and I have some duplicated content issues and I
can’t find the xml file. I don’t know why but the noindex it’s not working
for me. I think I’ll switch to Yoast. Thank you!!!

Chris Badgett says:

This is a first class tutorial. Loved the tempo. Great work here!

WordPressGuidesCo says:

in the Titles & Metas section you can click on the help tab and it will
display all your available terms. You can just copy from there whatever you
need and paste it right into your taxonomies to make sure the spelling etc
is perfect.

Gameplay Walkthrough says:

Waw very nice tot thnakss

WordPressGuidesCo says:

thanks!

OptinEmperor says:

yes Yoast is for sure the best SEO plugin for WordPress

WordPressGuidesCo says:

SEO is kind of an advanced topic in itself. This plugin sets your blog up
to populate your on-site seo automatically, and lets you refine it from
there. If you’re having trouble, you might consider reaching out to a
website professional for some help.

PulseHover - Pulse Hover Review/Bonus says:

Yoast is one of the best free SEO plugins, great video!

Juan Montini says:

Great tutorial. I love it. One question. When I add new products, do I need
to go to Google and do the last step again.? I did learn a lot with your
tutorial. Great Job.

Simon de Pinna says:

Thanks for the tutorial, Kalon, but I hope I’m not the first to tell you
that you’ve copied ‘tutorails’ instead of ‘tutorials’ throughout the
descriptions of your site! First lesson of SEO…spell your keywords
correctly!
